CAMINO FRANCES: DAY 13

Camino Frances day 13.

 DAY 13  | 23 km | From Tosantos to Agès

Apart from the usual albergues that are like Hostels, there are those that are taken care of by people who used to be pilgrims themselves. These people have done the Camino many times and they work volunteerly to offer pilgrims more than one bed to sleep. At these albergues the stay cost is free but one can donate any money he/she can afford. They remind a lot of the old lodgings where pilgrims stayed, the "Hospitaleros" of Churches and Monasteries.

During the last couple of days we have been staying at two such albergues where we felt we belonged to a community under the same purpose.
